  • Cucumber: 1 cup cucumber peeled. 
  • Mint leaves: Use approximately 8–9 leaves of mint.
  • Cottage cheese: I used about 1 cup or more of homemade cottage cheese. Crumble it yourself for the best texture.
  • Zesty honey-lime dressing: This dressing ties everything together. Whisk together the following ingredients. Juice of 1 lime, 1 tablespoon honey, and a pinch of salt.

  • In a large bowl, combine the cubed watermelon and cucumber.
  • Spread the cottage cheese evenly over the watermelon and cucumber.

  • 2 cups Watermelon, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup Cucumber, cut into cubes

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 8-9 mint leaves

  • Pinch of Pink salt


  • Take the watermelon and cucumber in a large bowl.
  • Spread cottage cheese.
  • Drizzle honey, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle mint leaves over the salad and toss.


  • I have used Indian cucumber, but you can take English cucumber.
